2. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing or using Joru you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Your use is also subject to the rules of the store you installed from (Google Play or the Apple App Store), and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled.

3. Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Joru. If the minimum age for consenting to digital services in your country is higher, that age applies instead. Joru is a general-audience travel planner and is not directed to children. You may enter children's ages when planning a family trip; that information is used only to tailor the itinerary, stays on your device, and is never used to profile a minor.

4. What Joru does — and what it does not

Joru builds day-by-day travel itineraries. Places, area guides and weather come from open data; the budget, sequence and transport estimates are computed on your device; an AI model that runs on your device arranges the day and writes the guide.

Joru is a planning tool, not a travel agency. It does not sell, book, reserve or guarantee any flight, stay, ticket, tour or table. Any booking you make happens with a third party, under that third party's own terms.

Plans are AI-generated

Itineraries are drafted by an AI model and may contain errors: an opening time may have changed, a price may be out of date, a place may have closed. Joru is not professional travel advice. Always verify opening hours, prices, availability, entry requirements and local safety information before you travel or spend money. Prices and budgets shown in the app are estimates.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Planning is free and requires no account. Because the AI runs on your device, generating a plan costs nothing to run.

Free includes: one destination per trip, trips of up to 3 days, real places, weather and area guides, a day-by-day itinerary you can edit, a budget estimate with real-spend tracking, the interactive map, the packing list, background generation, and export to PDF, Markdown or your calendar.

Premium adds: trips longer than 3 days, multiple destinations in one trip, a detailed budget by category, concrete restaurants filtered by cuisine, diet and price, transport between cities and day-trip excursions, and encrypted sync to your own cloud storage (Google Drive on Android, iCloud on iOS).

Payment

Premium is available as a monthly subscription or as a one-time purchase — the two options the app shows as “Monthly” and “One-time”. All payments are processed by the store you installed from (Google Play or the Apple App Store) — never by us directly, and we never see your payment details. The store is the seller of record for your purchase. The current price is the one shown in the app and in the store at the time of purchase, including applicable taxes.

Prices may change for the future. A change never affects a period you have already paid for: for subscriptions, the store notifies you in advance and the new price applies from the next renewal, which you are free to decline by cancelling. A one-time purchase already made is not charged again if the price changes.

Subscription term

The Premium subscription runs for one (1) month from the date of payment. Each renewal covers a further one-month period, counted from the renewal date. Premium is available for the whole period you paid for, whenever during that period you decide to cancel.

One-time purchase

The app calls this option One-time: you pay once and there are no renewals. It is tied to the store account you bought it with, so you restore it from that account on your other devices. It does not cover future products we might sell separately.

Google Play and the App Store list this kind of product as a “lifetime” purchase, so you may see that word on the store page or in your receipt. To be precise about what it grants: “Lifetime” refers to the commercial lifetime of the Joru application, not the lifetime of the user. A Lifetime purchase provides access to Joru Premium features for as long as Joru remains commercially available and supported. It does not guarantee that Joru will operate indefinitely or that all current features will remain available permanently.

If Joru is discontinued

We may stop developing, publishing or supporting Joru. If that happens we will, where reasonably possible, give notice in the app or on this site in advance so that you can export your trips (export to PDF, Markdown and calendar is free and always available). Plans already generated live on your device and do not stop working because we stop publishing updates. Beyond that, ending support ends the one-time purchase, as described above. This does not affect any refund or remedy you are entitled to by law, in particular the EU rules on digital content that is not supplied as agreed.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same one-month period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage, cancel or restore a purchase in your store account (Google Play → Subscriptions, or Apple ID → Subscriptions), not in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you already paid for.

Refunds and withdrawal

Refunds are handled by the store (Google Play or Apple), which is the seller of record, under its own policy — we cannot issue, refuse or reverse a payment ourselves. Request one from Google Play → Order history, or from Apple's “Report a Problem”. If the store declines and you believe you are legally entitled to a refund, write to us and we will help you take it up with them.

As an EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use Premium immediately you ask for immediate performance and, once the content is fully supplied, that right can be lost under EU law. This does not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty or is not what was described.

If you stop paying

Your data is never deleted because a subscription ends. Trips you already generated stay on your device and remain readable and exportable. Only the creation of new Premium-level plans and Premium features are locked.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Joru for anything unlawful; attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer or extract the app's models or data except where that is expressly permitted by law; interfere with or overload the open-data services the app relies on; resell or redistribute the app or bulk-extract its content; or circumvent the Free/Premium limits.

You are responsible for the trips you plan and the decisions you take, including visas, insurance, health requirements and local laws.

7. Open data, attribution and affiliate links

Joru is built on open data and respects its licences: map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); area guides from Wikivoyage and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA); forecasts from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0); place photos from Wikimedia Commons, shown with photographer and licence. Map tiles are served by Stadia Maps. Those datasets belong to their contributors, not to us, and their licences apply to their content.

Some booking links in the app are affiliate links, clearly labelled as such. If you book through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which places a plan recommends: the itinerary is built from open data before any partner is shown.

Joru depends on those third parties

Joru is built on top of services and datasets it does not own or control — OpenStreetMap, Wikivoyage, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Open-Meteo, Stadia Maps, the exchange-rate provider, and the app stores themselves. Any of them may go down, slow down, rate-limit requests, change how it works, alter its licence, or remove or edit content at any time, without notice to us.

When that happens, part of Joru may stop working or behave differently: an area guide may be missing, a place may lose its description or photo, the weather or the map may not load, a price may go stale. These interruptions come from the third party, not from a defect in Joru, and they are outside our control. We design the app to degrade gracefully — a plan is still generated, and what is already on your device stays readable — but we cannot guarantee the availability, accuracy or continuity of data that other people maintain. See also section 9.

8. Intellectual property

The app itself — its code, design, brand and text — belongs to RcuDev. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Joru on devices you own or control, for your own travel planning. The itineraries you generate are yours to use, print, export and share.

9. Availability, warranty and liability

Joru is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every place, price or opening time is accurate — much of that data comes from open sources maintained by volunteers. Features that depend on external services (maps, weather, open data, the stores) can be unavailable or change without notice, and we may change or discontinue features.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from your reliance on a generated plan — for example a missed opening time, a closed venue or an inaccurate estimate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may stop using Joru at any time by uninstalling it, and you can erase everything stored on your device from the app's settings at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription in your store account.
